About
This site provides information about the development of a networked journalism design collaborative initiated to follow-up on the findings of Exploring a Networked Journalism Collaborative in Philadelphia, a report released by J-Lab: The Institute for Interactive Journalism on April 21, 2010. The collaboration’s work will focus on increasing the quantity, quality and accessibility of public interest journalism in the region and is intended to provide an opportunity for journalists in the Greater Philadelphia area to explore possible collaborations to create content and distribution partnerships and build and share capacity. All of the work is intended to generate a greater understanding of possible models for public interest journalism. The project is part of an overall effort to strengthen public interest media and is funded by the William Penn Foundation.
